Day One

Game One

Teutonic Knights v Carthaginians

We anchored our right flank on some rough going and pushed forward on the left. If Hannibal had made a stronger showing on our right our baggage would have been in serious jeopardy.

C in C's command takes out the Numbian Ally and pushes on to take the central command. 5 - 0 victory.

Game Two

Teutonic Knights v Tamils

The Teutonic foot command crumbled under the pressure of the Tamil warband and elephants but not before taking their C in C's command.

3 - 5 loss.

I finished day two in second position. What would day two bring...

Day Two

Disaster!

Game Three

Teutonic Knights v Later Hungarians 

The Later Hungarian's Light Horse out maneuvered the Tuetonics and  took out both flanks.

.

The Light Horse on this flank went back and forth without much happening until the Later Hungarian bowmen advanced and shoot up the Cv (I) on the flank.  

Surely these spear should be closer to the fighting.

0 - 5 loss. 

Game Four

Teutonic Knights v Medieval French

The plan was simple, maybe too simple. Advance and kill the enemy.

This is where it went horribly wrong.

 

Where are all our superior knights?

Here in the graveyard!

Took two superior knight generals to kill one of theirs but it was a case of too little too late.

With the death of this light horse and the two bases of bowmen it was game over. Another 0 - 5 loss and a dismal fourth.

Never the less it was a great weekend of wargaming. Thank you to my opponents and the members of MSSA for a well organised event.

The second annual installment of KruCon will take place on the 18th and 19th of June 2016 at Riverview Prep School.
